Our Programs

PUSH Green Programs

BEHIP/Warm & Dry on the Westside – In these programs, we work with qualified homeowners across Buffalo to make home improvements and upgrade the housing stock within our communities.

Out of Gas, In with Justice – In this pilot program, we worked with residents to replace traditional gas ovens and furnaces with induction stoves and heat pumps, in order to track the difference in air quality.

Lead Remediation – We work with organizations across the city to increase awareness about lead infrastructure and provide solutions and advice for remediation.

NYSERDA Programs

Empower+ – Helps low-to-moderate income households save energy and money toward energy improvements made to their primary residence, including no-cost home energy assessments, direct install improvements and funding toward energy efficiency measures. (view program)

Appliance Upgrade Program (AUP) – Offers income-eligible households rebates on the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump clothes dryer from participating retailers. (view program)

Comfort Home – Improves energy efficiency, reduces utility bills, and enhances home comfort through bundled insulation, air sealing, and window upgrade rebate packages. (view program)

Green Jobs – Green New York (GJGNY) Energy Studies – offers subsidized energy studies to small businesses and not-for-profits to help identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency. (view program)

Community Solar – Allows homeowners, renters, businesses, and multifamily buildings to access the benefits of solar power without installing panels on their property by sharing the discounts generated from community solar projects. (view program)

Clean Energy Hub Programs

ECLIPSE – This program allows Erie County residents to enroll in community solar projects state-wide at no cost, and save approximately 10% in automatic bill credits on their regular electric bill. (view program)
