About this event
Join us Saturday, March 15th 11-2pm at the Frank E. Merriweather, Jr. Library,
1324 Jefferson Ave, Buffalo, NY 14208
Community organizers and public health advocates will be discussing new science about threats in your home to your families’ health, and the things you can do to protect them.
Rent or own, the quality of housing in Buffalo needs effective and adequate funding and programs to replace unsafe materials and old appliances to protect our families from dangerous pollution. Whether it’s lead in paint and pipes, fumes from burning fossil fuels inside and out, or walls and roofs that leak AC in the summer and hot air in the winter, upgrading our homes to fix these problems will protect our pocketbooks and our health on our journey to clean energy for all.
Join us for an informative, fun, and important event focused on a better future for Buffalo!
PUSH Green and the WNY Green Energy Hub is a collaboration between People United for Sustainable Housing Buffalo (PUSH Buffalo) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
