Stop by the Grand Island Library to sign up for the 2025-26 Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). HEAP may be able to help you if you heat your home with: electricity, natural gas, oil, coal, propane, wood/pellets, kerosene or corn. Eligibility and benefits are based on income, household size, the primary heating source, and the presence of a household member who is under age 6, age 60 or older or permanently disabled. ECLIPSE staff will also be available to answer questions about how you can save EXTRA $ on your electric bills and improve energy efficiency in your home through NYSERDA-funded programs.
For ECLIPSE bring an email address and electric utility bill!
For HEAP bring ID, electric/gas/fuel utility bills, social security number, 1 month of paystubs or tax returns.
