We serve the following Western New York counties:
Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties.

The WNY Clean Energy Hub is one of 12 Clean Energy Hubs around New York State dedicated to help and provide information to affordable housing homeowners, renters, and small businesses about the benefits of the clean-energy economy, ways to reduce energy use and costs, and how to make more informed energy decisions.

We’re a trusted and knowledgeable network of community-based organizations with years of experience in clean energy, energy efficiency, workforce and economic development, education, health, and housing. The WNY Hub currently has seven partner organizations in its network.

To build resilient communities, we need a healthy environment, a strong economy with good-paying jobs, and equitable access to resources.

We are not contractors or salespeople. Our goal is to educate about renewable energy and energy efficiency, connect our neighbors to opportunities to go green and help maintain strong sustainable communities that are in control of their energy futures.

Our team of BPI-certified Energy Advisors provides Western New York residents access to free or reduced cost comprehensive energy assessments, installation services, low-cost financing, solar, and, importantly, workforce opportunities.

We work with residents, workers, contractors, and other partners to make our communities in Western New York more sustainable by reducing energy costs and improving our health, comfort, and safety. We strive to deliver triple-bottom line benefits to local communities hit hard by long-term unemployment and high energy burdens that are good for both the environment and the economy.

  • Energy efficiency upgrades, like insulation and air sealing, can help you save on your utility bills.
  • Clean energy technology, like heat pumps, can help make your home more comfortable and reduce your energy costs if you currently heat with electricity, propane, or heating oil. Heat pumps don’t need gas to run and provide heating and cooling in one system!
  • Solar energy can help reduce your electricity costs and add clean energy to the grid.
  • We aren’t new! We are experienced advisors working with residents, small businesses, and nonprofits on resources for energy efficiency upgrades and solar energy.
